I am a successful academic leader, with experience of cross-university roles and senior leadership positions within Higher Education.


Outside of Higher Education I have Chaired Trustee Boards and advised leadership groups on a range of issues.


  • Vice-Chancellor’s Medal (2022)
    • I received the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal (one of around 10 awarded to staff each year) as a member of the Education Planning Group, which led on the changes required throughout 20/21 in response to Covid-19. 
  • Vice-Chancellor’s Medal (2021)
    •  I received the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal  for my work as Chair of UoN’s Quality and standards committee, on the University’s response to Covid-19.
